wire and Cable Exhibition 2024 Update: Inbalance Grid Begins Business Expansion in Central and Eastern Europe
Inbalance grid, the largest operator and developer of electric vehicle charging solutions in the Baltic region, has struck a partnership agreement with the large supermarket chain Stokrotka, which has over 1000 locations, to enter the Polish market. wire and Cable Exhibition 2024 understands that the company will install 276 charging points in Stokrotka's stores between 2024 and 2025, with continued expansion in the future.
Inbalance Grid plans to deploy its dedicated charging stations in major cities and surrounding towns in Poland. This initiative will make Stokrotka the most electric vehicle-friendly supermarket chain in Poland.
wire and Cable Exhibition 2024 has learned that both companies have completed the design and planning stages of the project, with actual deployment set to begin soon. By the end of this year, about 60 Stokrotka stores will be integrated into the Inbalance grid network.
Stokrotka stated that the main reason for partnering with Inbalance grid, compared to other market players, is the company's technological edge, including expertise in IoT development and integration, in-house designed hardware and software certified both internationally and locally (UDT), robust infrastructure, and project execution efficiency.
The IoT being deployed by Inbalance grid in Poland is not just conventional charging hardware, but an integrated system that connects building management systems (BMS), photovoltaic, parking systems, and other equipment.
Simonas Stankus, CEO of Inbalance grid, stated that the collaboration with Stokrotka will showcase Inbalance grid’s research and development breakthroughs in Poland at the site. The company looks forward to future growth in that country as well as in the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, and other Central and Eastern European markets.
